I’m watching the birds at my parent’s bird feeder, even on this rainy day.  I’m so excited to be home for a few days.   I had a great time talking with some high schoolers yesterday, who asked me surprisingly thoughtful questions.  I’m heading out to Ann Arbor today for a rehearsal with my lovely pianist. It’s so exciting to finally put these pieces together after practicing them by myself for the last couple months.  I’ve been introducing the dog to my flute, and after he freaked out, jumping around for a bit, he calmed down and started ignoring me :)
